We support plugin update for all themes/templates, template included Quix Extended license and it requires update manually. I replied your ticket about quix updating and already provided the link for latest package so you can get “up to date” when new version release.

IMPORTANT: We included quix 1.9.2 stable for quickstart, not 2.0.x. WHY? The current quix 2.0 is NOT ready for production. All elements from quix 1.9.x are missing for Front-end editing, the themexpert team still working to convert these elements(pro) for front-end editing elements. Developer recommend stay with 1.9 instead 2.x

NOTE: Quix 2.0 itself not really stable, missing front-end elements so you should wait for stable release.

Quix 2.x working fine with all Warptheme templates, sure you can use the new builder without problem.
NOTE: With Quix 2.x you can create new page with visual builder mode but you can edit existing page using visual builder mode. Quix 2.x itself does not support this feature.
but I can’t add any content to the page and I assume this is because those buttons are hidden somewhere.
This happened because the transparent overlay menu of Grandy :).
Tip: Please hover the mouse to the end of “Add section” button :), by this way you can add new section content 🙂

Header/Footer/Body Container are parts of layout settings, Grandy using Helix3 framework, you can go to template settings -> layout tab to see the layout configuration.

You can get the update package for Joomla 3.8.0 here https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/releases/tag/3.8.0
Just download package name Joomla_3.8.0-Stable-Update_Package.zip
After that, go to Components -> Joomla Update -> tab Upload & Update -> Upload the package and click button upload and install
The issue here that your site load plugin with FULL URL PREFIX via joomla administrator like so
http://www.your-domain.com/index.php/en/plugins/system/helix3/assets/css/font-awesome.min.css
it should be
http://www.your-domain.com/plugins/system/helix3/assets/css/font-awesome.min.css
