Hello Brian,

I’ve too busy lately, so I couldn’t get back to you about the Quix update.
Last October, you provided some files for download, but I don’t know if if you recommend to update Quix or not. The version I have on my EDU Template is 1.7.1.
Thx a lot.

The Quix page loads normally as before! Thank anyway.

The Solution :
– Manage template
– Styles
– Select template
– Edit
– Options
– Layouts
– Cookie Law
I couldn’t translate the “Read More” button, though!?

This is the message I want to translate and which shows on the visitor’s first visit… img

It seems a bit complicated! Isn’t there a simpler way to translate the following text that shows for visitors:

“This website uses cookies to ensure you get the best experience on our website.”
“Got it!”
“Allow cookies”
“Decline”
“Learn more”

This text can be seen in the JavaScript file in the EDU template.

1- Can I just translate it there and save the file, or is it the wrong solution?
2- Which plugin is used to show the Cookie Consent Message?

Thx

Is there a way to assign the same size to the testimonial windows. I’ve noticed that even if I write the same number of words in each testimonial block, the size of the “blocks” is not similar (have a look at my screen-shots to see what I mean).

Thx.

Have you checked on this site , just before the paragraph entitled “Final words” -towards the end of the article?
I could have attached a screen shot but the text editor doesn’t allow it!

Thx

I don’t mean a simple link pointing to an article written beforehand and having the look of a Joomla article!
I was wondering if we can’t just write the beginning of the testimony and then click on a link of some sort to read the whole testimonial -as it is presented, for example, here (towards the end of the article)

Thx again

Thanks, but your solution only creates another column in my dropdown menu.
What I want to get to is to have a multi-level dropdown navigation.

You can see what I want to get to

Thanks again. It did help 😉

But I have other questions!!!

– If I update le Quix extension, will my settings disappear?

– If I add the French language to the administration part of the joomla site, will that be in conflict with the en-GB settings made in Quix, for example?

– In your EDU template, the button “Subscribe” is in English and I’d like to change it into French. Where can I find the configuration file?

Thnaks a lot and have a good day.

Thank you but I found too many files (xml, php) and I don’t know which ones should I modify?? (‘form.xml’, ‘form_captcha.xml’ in “form” folder; ‘helper.php’, ‘style.php’, ‘view.php’ in “contact-form” folder and ‘inline-js.php’ in “js” folder).
Only the “form.xml” and the “form_captcha.xml”???
What about the button “send message”? I’d like to translate the words into French.
Last question: I haven’t tested sending a message yet, and I’m wondering which mailbox will receive the email?

Thx again

I’m going to reply to myself!!!

The counter module can be configured through the Quix component.

Have a good day.

SOLVED

My problem of logging in to the back-end of the site came from the cookie information I gave while installing the Quickstar Package!!
I should’ve put these lines in the “configuration.php” file to BLANK :

public $cookie_domain = ”;
public $cookie_path = ”;

After doing that, I was able to access the administration part of the site without any pb.
