There’re two ways to upload favicon to template directory:
1. Upload via template settings.
2. Upload using filezilla to joomla/templates/template_name/images/
I see the site using this favicon image http://faithbaptistcushing.org/favicon.ico
You need to use ftp program and delete this file, it seems a default favicon icon from your hosting.

You can custom css code via custom.css file or theme.less
