Hello together,

on 5th of January I bought the WT Brave Pro Template including Quix.

On the 31st of January it was the last time I edited the website. All worked fine (including Joomla updates and Quix) and Akeeba took an backup.
Today I wanted to finish the website.
First what I have seen when I open the update site:

You already have the latest Joomla version, 3.8.3.

As far as I know the actual version is 3.8.4.

And when I try to open Quix Pages I get the following:


An error has occurred.
0 No HTTP response received
 Return to Control Panel

Between the 31st and today, there were no updates, interactions or any edits. Curious!

Then I restored the Akeeba Backup from 31st.
The Restore procedure worked also fine, but the two problems still there.

How could this be fixed / solved.

Hi Thomas,

Clear Joomla caches and try to update again, sometime Joomla server caused the issue with updating.

I reinstalled the latest quix version you posted – now quix works fine again – Thanx a lot.

The update problem is still present.
I tried now several times to clear all caches inside Joomla i found and I also rebuild the Update-Sites – but nothing – I still get the error Message

Very curious.

I also checked if I could update to Joomla 3.8.5 manually, but on the actual webspace I only allowed to upload files up to 8M and the recommended Upgrade Package from Joomla is bigger than 11M.

Just updated your site to newest joomla 3.8.5 (manually).

Please help me check.

About update joomla core: Please ask the question to joomla community to find out the real problem.
