How to update Quix?

Hi there, I’d like to know how to update the Quix-Component of the wt-berrykids pro template which i’ve bought at November 27th. Can you help me with that?
The Quix installed is 1.7.2 and the newest is 1.8.2. When I try to do an update it says “Error COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.”

I already inserted an auth-code from http://www.themexpert.com, but that doesn’t help.

Note: If you are using old berrykids template version, please download the newest version via customer area and reinstall it.

NOTE: If you are using old berrykids template, please go to template folder -> delete QUIX folder then reinstall the newest version, nothing change or lost :), Quix 1.9.0 released with whole style change so you need to delete old quix elements via template folder.

Hi again,
thank you for your help, but there is a new Quix Update (1.9.2) and Unite Slider too (5.0.14). Do I need to buy these for my site or can I use free Versions? I don’t like to ask anytime an Update is availiable. 😉

I use the berrykids template in joomla.

I want to update this now.

Where can I find the Quix folder to delete?

How can I update the slider?
