Thank you for your help, kind regards, Gerold
Hi there,
By default, Ruby support 02 footer position, footer1
and footer2
You need to create footer3 position via templateDetails.xml file, please take a look this tutorial
Next step, go to template options -> Layout tab -> footer section -> Add new columns -> select 4,4,4 column option. See https://imgur.com/Ci7awX6
After that, assign the new footer3 position for new column then you can create new Joomla module -> assign it to footer3 position.
Hi Brian,
I add footer3 in templateDetails.xml.
Next step would be the 4,4,4 column option for the footer-menue.
You have send me the weblink to helix3 tutorial
Question
Do I have to download and intall helix3 at my joomla-website?
or do I have to do add the footer-menue in Quix (e.g. home of ruby-template)
or do I have to intall only footer-menue alone and add it at each site. Because it should be shown permanent at all sites.
Thank you for your feedback. Have a wonderful xmas-time.
Kind regards from Austria, Gerold
Hi Brian,
I have add footer3 in the template and I made the changes in Quix, home as last modul (footer-menu).
But at the frontpage this modul is shown not at the very end of the page.
How to move “Section sp-bottom” one section higher, so that footer-menu-section is at the very end? Like at your website below.
Thank you for your help. Kind regards from Austria, Gerold
“Do I have to download and intall helix3 at my joomla-website?”
NO, Ruby already included Helix3 framework itself.
“or do I have to do add the footer-menue in Quix (e.g. home of ruby-template)”
For layout builder, you need to do it via Layout settings, you can not use Quix to build the footer layout for whole site layout.
Please note: Quix is page builder not Layout Builder.
“How to move “Section sp-bottom” one section higher, so that footer-menu-section is at the very end? Like at your website below.”
Just go to template settings -> Layout tab -> then drag and drop the section layout to change the order.
Hi Brian,
thank you for your feedback. I made the changes for the topbar.
Now I just tried to install in Helix3 the footer3-section. But I don’t find any possibility to make a new section. Please help for the installation.
Thank you for your help. Kind regards from Austria, Gerold
Please take a closer look this tutorial
Here the tutorial working with topbar https://www.dropbox.com/s/we4tjd4ca0ptsdf/Topbar.mov?dl=0
You can see that I can add new row and assign the module positions for the columns.
Hi Brian,
just finished Footer-menu at my website. So, this issue is solved now.
Kind regards from Austria, Gerold
